Edward St.Pe', a New Orleans native, is the Founder of Ocean 7 TV. He comes to this latest entrepreneurial incarnation after many years in broadcast TV. Starting as an on air meteorologist, St.Pe' founded the syndicated TV weather service, "WeatherVision" in 1992. WeatherVision serves the on-air TV weather needs of stations across the country.
WeatherVision's need for satellite distribution gave birth to Jackson Teleport, which still serves central Mississippi today as the live-shot studio used by NBC, FOX, ABC, CBS, MSNBC and CNN in the US as well as many international networks from Japan, China, Europe and the Mid-East.
St.Pe' moved the former WKFK TV from Pascagoula to downtown Ocean Springs in 2017 and rebranded it Ocean 7 TV, WXVO (WeatherVision Ocean Springs).
The Ocean 7 studio is also equipped with technology which connects it as a remote Live-Shot Studio and is now used by national news networks like CNN, NBC, ABC, as well as the greater worldwide television marketplace.
